231327: INCIDENT AFFECTING BROADBAND AND VOICE SERVICES

Location: Aylesbury, HP1.

We are currently experiencing a network incident in Aylesbury, HP1 affecting broadband and voice services. Engineers are currently investigating the issue and will provide an update as soon as possible or within 2 hours.

The fault on site is impacting a small subset of customers. This fault is being caused by equipment in an end customers house.

The on-site engineer has finished for today, and engineers will return to site in the morning to continue working.

Tomorrow morning, the engineers will be working logically through our network to identify and replace the offending device. They may knock your door to inspect your equipment.

If this issue is affecting your service, please do not reboot your device, as this will not restore service and will prolong the process of identifying the faulty device.

An engineer is on site investigating the problem and found that there is an issue with equipment on site.

Engineers have been investigating the problem and found that faulty network equipment has caused some customers to go offline. An engineer has been dispatched with an ETA of 12:00 26/09/22.

Work to restore service was completed at 19:25 on 26/09/2022. Customers should now find services to be working as expected. We will continue to monitor services to ensure they remain stable.

Any issues being experienced after this time should be treated as individual cases and reported in the usual manner.

Engineers have continued to work on the issue and service should be live. Works are still ongoing currently.

Engineers have been investigating the problem and found that the issue was with fibre supporting the site. The damage has been repaired and services should be restored, but may be under risk of going back down until works are completed.

A further update will be provided when the services are no longer at risk, or within 2 hours.
